SEMA Pinewood Derby

Every year, SEMA hosts a “SEMA Cares Pinewood Derby Drag Race” to benefit kids who have been seriously abused or who faced serious illnesses and disabilities. The kids at Childhelp and Victory Junction participate in a fundraiser by building pinewood derby cars and then asking for sponsorship to benefit the charities.

With only two weeks to go until the big race at the legendary Pomona Raceway on July 26th, half of the 400 kid-built cars are still unsponsored. The race will take place during the SEMA Installation, Hall of Fame, and Charity banquet. For just $95, you or your company can sponsor one of the cars to help the charities continue their awesome work.

As we enter the home stretch of this year’s Pinewood Derby program, Vette is asking for your support in making sure every child’s car get a sponsor. If you have already donated to the cause, thank you. Your support is worth more than you understand.
