Oopsie! Chevrolet just posted on its website about the upcoming reveal of the 2015 Corvette Z06 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next week. Someone seems to have let the cat out of the bag regarding some much sought-after information about the newest Corvette. All one has to do is search “Chevrolet Z06 Supercar Reveal” to find Chevrolet’s statement that, “With 620 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque, the 2015 Corvette Z06 is the most advanced Corvette ever made.”
When we brought you information on the Z06 (with spy shots) not long ago, we figured the blown V-8 powerplant should be able to provide us with approximately 600-650 horsepower, so it’s not too much of a surprise, but it’s exciting news nonetheless.
The car is due to be unveiled on January 13th and you can catch all the action live on the Chevrolet website beginning at 9:30 a.m. The all-new C7.R will also be unveiled during the event.
