Low Production Corvette Update

2011 Corvette Z06 Carbon Edition is the Rarest Corvette of 2011

Though the final numbers aren't in, the 2011 Z06 Carbon Edition has likely earned the honor of the rarest Corvette model produced for the model year.

The limited edition Z06 CE was available in two colors only—Supersonic Blue Metallic and  Inferno Orange Metallic Carbon Edition. Most Chevrolet dealerships didn't even get one of the two available colors, forcing collectors to look far and wide for the elusive CE limited edition.

The good news: the CE will continue for 2012

1. I like the looks and sounds of the C6 corvettes and hope to own one some day. I’m finding it hard to believe that GM could sell enough of these so called “track ready” corvettes to earn a return on their investment, especially with corvette sales barely 12000 or so each year.
