In the previous blog, we showed how the new-car price of a '67 Corvette in today's dollars, was much closer to the price of a new Mustang or Camaro.

How much would your classic Corvette cost in today's dollars.

Here's how to find out.

Find the price of your Corvette when new. If you don't have its window sticker or invoice, Corvette Black Book lists the new prices and new option-prices for all retail-production Corvettes since '53.

Once you know how much your Corvette cost when new, go to the Inflation Calculator at http://146.142.4.24/cgi-bin/cpicalc.pl and follow the instructions.

Then, whenever anybody asks, you can tell them, "My Corvette cost so-many dollars when new, but that's so-many-dollars in today's money."
