The Corvette team built on the success of the 1963 Sting Ray with carefully chosen revisions, the most significant of which was the extra 15 horsepower packed into the optional L84 fuel-injected 327, now rated at 375 and backed by an M20 4-speed.
The fuel-injected 1964 Sting Ray convertible offered here was awarded NCRS Top Flight honors at the 2007 Winter Regional Meet in Old Town, Florida. The result of a complete frame-off restoration, its pairing of Riverside Red with a Black interior and Black soft top is a collector favorite, made all the better by off-road exhaust, 3.70 Positraction rear end and finned aluminum knock-off wheels. A matching auxiliary hard top, AM/FM radio and Soft Ray tinted glass add further desirability to this award-winning “Fuelie” Corvette.
