Recently, we had the opportunity to sample a "mildly detuned" version of Corvette Racing's Le Mans-winning C6.R race car.

While outward visibility was impressive, the newly designed four-inch wheels and plastic racing slicks conspired to limit cornering grip on carpeted surfaces. An observed top speed of 6 mph fell slightly short of expectations but proved more than a match for Barbie's pink C5.
