Specter Werkes/Sports will display the first production C6 Corvette GTR at the prestigious EyesOn Design automotive design show on Sunday, June 21.
EyesOn Design brings invited examples of the world’s most exciting and influential vehicles together to benefit the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology. It is held at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores, Mich.
“We are honored and thrilled to be part of EyesOn Design,” said Jeff Nowicki, president of Specter Werkes/Sports. “Design is at the core of our business and the recognition bestowed by the selection committee reinforces our commitment to building great-looking cars.”
Featuring dramatic bodywork and carbon fiber details, as well as an exclusive, BASF liquid silver metallic exterior color, the GTR blends racing-inspired design cues with uncompromising luxury and performance. The Specter Werkes/Sports GTR package is available on all C6 Corvette models, including the base coupe and convertible, the Z06 and ZR1.
GTR #1, which is owned by Colorado residents Mike and Michelle Cowan, will also be displayed at the Eve of Eyes kickoff gathering, on Friday, June 19, at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum. This informal event combines cars, fashion, music and food.
