Meadow Brook Event to Showcase '60s Muscle Cars

For its 30th anniversary, the Meadow Brook Concours d’Elegance is revving things up with Stock Cars and Gassers from the 1960’s!


A unique collection of significant cars from the early years of Drag Racing will be showcased on the show field, including:

1965 Comet – Dyno Don Nicholson’s Car
1963 Ford - The Bob Ford Car
1969 Cuda - Ray Mancini’s Race Car
1965 Plymouth - Roger Lindamood’s “Color Me Gone”
1933 Willys - Prock and Howell – F Troupe
1933 Willys - Virgil Cates Car
1948 Packard -   “The Flintstone Flyer”
1951 Anglia – Kohler Bros – “King Kong”
1937 Willys – S&S Racing Team 

In addition, the Concours will feature a selection of cars from “The Best of Detroit”, Packard V-12’s, Rolls Royce Phantoms, Exotic Italian Cars, Swoopy Coupes, British Twins – Motorcycles, Fins and Chrome: Convertibles of 1959, and a gathering of cars from the Brass and Horseless Carriage era.
