The McDorman Sign Auction will take place Sept. 11-12, 2009, at Bob McDorman Chevrolet in Canal Winchester, Ohio.  The no reserve auction features more than 1,000 vintage signs, parts and automotive collectibles.

Mecum will sell a colorful Chevrolet clock sign - one of the hardest pieces to find - that measures 8 foot by 6 foot and is in excellent condition.  A 10-foot tall vintage Chevrolet Starburst sign is fully operational and one of the most colorful produced by the automaker.
     
The McDorman Sign Collection also contains a 5-foot Buick logo sign.  With few examples available today, this fully operational GM vintage sign would be a unique addition to any sign or Buick collection.
