Dick Guldstrand, better known as “Mr. Corvette”, will be a featured guest at the 16th annual Corvette Funfest held at Mid America Motorworks on September 25, 26, & 27, 2009. 

Corvette Funfest, held each September, welcomes more than 14,000 Corvettes and 45,000 spectators during the 3-day event.  Mr. Guldstrand will join other invited celebrities in autograph sessions, honorary judging and question and answer sessions.  Mr. Guldstrand has spent the majority of his adult life involved with developing, racing and promoting the Chevrolet Corvette.  In recognition of his hundreds of contributions to the success of the Corvette, through development engineering, performance on the rack track, assisting racers, organizing Corvette events and promoting Corvette when ever and where ever he could, Dick Guldstrand was inducted into the Corvette Hall of Fame at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY in 1999.
