Texas Show Set for May

Lone Star Corvette Classic to Include Car Show, Cruise, Auction, and More

The 20th annual Lone Star Corvette Classic will be held at Texas Motor Speedway, May 15-17, 2009.

More than 600 classic, custom, and stock Corvettes are expected to be on display during the event. This 3-day event has something for everyone: treasure run, gymkhana, Corvette cruise, car show, vendors, car corral, awards, casino night (non-cash prizes), silent auction, and track events.

The Show-N-Shine and Judged car show activities take place under the grandstands on Saturday. Admission is FREE to the viewing public. Track events on Sunday include hot laps on the TMS oval and road course.

Proceeds benefit the National Corvette Museum, Speedway Children's Charities, and St. Cloud’s Rescue.
