Mid America Motorworks will host its bi-annual Swapfest on Saturday, May 2, 2009. In addition to the swap meet, this year’s Swapfest will also feature an auction, flea market, and "Car for Sale Corral." The new expanded Swapfest will once again be held on the corporate campus in Effingham, Illinois, where automotive enthusiasts of every type have the chance to explore thousands of parts and memorabilia to buy, sell and swap, as well as meet other collectors.

The swap meet and flea market will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST. This is the perfect opportunity to find great bargains or to make some extra money from your collection of treasures. The auction, which will be held at 11 a.m., will include a variety of items from office supplies to car parts. Breakfast and Lunch will be available on the grounds.

For those looking to sell at the swap meet or flea market, 20' x 20' exhibit spaces are available for $40 each, unlimited spaces available. Anyone wishing to sell a vehicle at the Swapfest "Car for Sale Corral" can do so for a non-refundable fee of $25 per vehicle. Auction consignment will be available for the vehicles that do not sell at the swap meet. Exhibitor set up will begin at 6:30 a.m.

Mid America Motorworks' extensive inventory of new parts and accessories will be available for sale, as well as special deals on discontinued and slightly used merchandise.

Can’t make it to the Spring Swapfest?  Mid America Motorworks will also be holding a fall Swapfest on October 10, 2009.

To reserve "Exhibit" space, "Car for Sale Corral" space, or to participate in the car consignment option at the 2009 Spring Swapfest, call 866-279-0407 or visit www.mamotorworks.com/swap
