Over 1,000 Corvettes will gather on the Mid America Motorworks corporate campus September 2nd and 3rd, 2009 as they caravan toward the National Corvette Museum’s 15th Anniversary Celebration in Bowling Green, KY.

The Caravan Kick-Off event will feature Corvettes and their owners from over fifteen states and nine regions of the United States. The two day celebration will be a preview of Mid America Motorworks’ Funfest, which will draw almost 15,000 Corvettes and 40,000 people over the September 25-27th weekend.

During the Caravan Kick-Off, a “Taste of Effingham” venue will be available on Wednesday and participants will be treated to free evening entertainment as well as a free continental breakfast Thursday morning. In addition, tours of the MY Garage Museum and Performance Choice Manufacturing Facility will be given throughout the day along with various seminars. All customers using or applying for the MY Garage Rewards VISA card will receive a 10% discount on all purchases as well as 35% off specially featured items.

Mid America Motorworks encourages all Corvette enthusiasts to enjoy the festivities at their corporate campus and join other Corvette owners as they caravan to the National Corvette Museum celebration.  Corvette Clubs and owners are welcome to join in the Corvette camaraderie.
