Our project car is on the road, and we even deemed it reliable enough to drive to the office today, but our project still has no name. Let us know what you think we should call this C3, and Keep in mind that we're planning to make this car a real performer!

Naming a magazine project car can be more difficult than it sounds, especially in this world of political correctness. We're asking you, our readers to help us name our latest project, a '71 Stingray.

Since our first blog, we've had a couple of ideas sent to us including: Black Attack (because the car is black on black), Pure Evil (again because of our intended upgrades and the sinsiter black color combo).

So far, the best we've been able to come up with is Project C3 Triple Ex. And no, the Triple Ex is not what you're thinking (get your mind out of the gutter), nor do the Ex's refer to the trio of ex-wives we went through to purchase and build this car.

Actually the premise behind Project C3 Triple Ex is simple:

Extreme Handling

Extreme Braking

Extreme Acceleration

Write us, email us, or leave a comment telling us what you think of our name for this Corvette, and certainly send in your ideas for a name as well. While we like "Project C3 Triple Ex", we also appreciate the creativity of our readers so if a better name is submitted, we'll use it.

Also, look forward to reading about this car in Vette magazine. We're planning our upgrades already and looking forward to making this car into a real street/track screamer!
