For the second year in a row, The Kids Wish Network is raffling away a matching pair of trick Corvettes with the lucky winner scoring both units.
The ’67 is a fully-restored 427ci, 390 hp 4-speed with side pipes, Tuxedo Black paint with black interior, and a red hood stinger. Sweet. But wait, there’s more: The matching ’09 is a very special one-of-one Hero Edition ZR1 customized for the charity by Alternative Automotive Technologies. The Hero Edition ZR1 features special paint, upholstery, emblems, and trim. The Kids Wish Network’s sponsors for the insane Corvette giveaway include Chevrolet, Summit Racing, Moroso Performance, Corvette Central, Paragon Corvettes, and Zip Products. The drawing will be held on Christmas day, 2009, while tickets are only $3.00, so get on it.
Founded in 1997, The Kids Wish Network is a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization (Federal id # 31-1579097) dedicated to assisting critically ill children and their families. Its worthy programs include the Hero of the Month campaign to honor brave boys and girls with threatening illnesses, and for which the Hero Edition ZR1 is named; the Holiday of Hope Gift Bank, which donates millions of dollars in toys to hospitals and other caregiving facilities around the country; wish granting for gravely ill children from 3 to 18; and funeral assistance for the financially devastated families of stricken kids.
