FAST XFI with Intelligent Traction Control

Make your FAST XFI even better with the new Intelligent Traction Control software, which helps avoid tire slippage and improves track times.

Previously, this feature was only available when purchasing a new FAST XFI with the Intelligent Traction Control feature already included. Now, owners of earlier XFI units can send their original unit back to FAST and, for a fee, upgrade to the new Intelligent Traction Control version. FAST service technicians will convert your XFI unit and assemble it with a new, black-anodized Intelligent Traction Control enclosure.

Utilizing state-of-the-art predictive software in conjunction with the most sophisticated electronics in the industry, the new Intelligent Traction Control software system continually measures driveshaft speed to determine when to reduce engine power (through ignition cutoff or retard) to eliminate traction loss. Competing systems often make incorrect power adjustments as a result of measuring inaccurate traction indicators, like engine rpm, that are subject to spikes from clutch disengagement or torque-converter slippage.

Drag racers looking for a product that helps increase performance consistency, down-track stability, and overall drivability will welcome this modification. Even street-car owners will find Intelligent Traction Control a huge help when driving high performance vehicles, such as Cobra kit cars, that are challenged by high power-to-weight ratios.

All XFI Data Logging features are retained with this upgrade, so adding the Intelligent Traction Control features does not diminish the standard XFI features you have grown to know and depend on.
