GM will celebrate its 100th anniversary in an unorthodox way: by releasing a 30-car run of special-edition Corvettes for the Japanese market.
Dubbed the Corvette S-Limited, the car will be available in black or white (15 examples of each will be built) and come with a number of model-specific cosmetic fillips. These include a custom, leather-wrapped interior; mesh inserts for the side coves, grille, and exhaust plate; and a "racing" spoiler. A 430hp LS3 is the only available powerplant. The S-Limited will carry a price tag of 7,980,000 yen (around $75,300) when it goes on sale July 4th.
