Fittipaldi to Participate in Indy Ethanol Summit

Pace Car Driver to Discuss Impact of Brazilian Ethanol

Two-time Indianapolis 500 winner, ethanol refiner, and Corvette Z06 Indy Pace Car driver Emerson Fittipaldi will participate in the third annual Ethanol Summit and panel discussion held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Thursday, May 22, from 9:30-11 a.m. in the North Pavilion.


Summit participants and the topics they will address include:

Andy Miller, director of the Indiana State Department of Agriculture - Indiana Ethanol Industry

Emerson Fittipaldi - Brazilian Ethanol History

Marcos Jank, president of UNICA, the largest ethanol co-op in Brazil with more than 3,000 producer-members - Current Brazilian Situation

Bill Becker, CEO of Lifeline Foods, which produces the E100 racing fuel for the Indy Car Series and products for Frito-Lay - Food and Fuel

Michael Ladisch, Ph.D., chief technical officer for Mascoma Corp., GM's latest cellulosic ethanol strategic alliance - Next Generation Ethanol

Beth Lowery, vice president of Environment, Energy and Safety Policy for GM - Future Sustainable Biofuels
