There's no question the new-for-'08 custom leather interior package lends a much-needed element of class to the Corvette's cabin.

But is this option really worth its $3,500 asking price? Indeed, is it unreasonable to expect this level of interior refinement to come standard in a vehicle that stickers for between 50 and 70 large?
