Caddy Uncorks a Four-door Corvette

Imagine for a moment that you've been handed $100,000 and instructed to spend it on any single car other than a Corvette (one of which, presumably, you already have).

So what'll it be? A BMW M5? An M-B E63? As for me, I'm going with the recently introduced '09 Cadillac CTS-V. With a 550hp, LS9-derived engine and a Nurburgring-tuned suspension, this killer Cad is the closest thing you'll find to a four-door ZR1.

1. BFU! God I wish Cadillac would improve their styling. And the fact, I would never pay $100k for a Cadillac. NEVER! And few others will.

It all comes down to the vanity of being a status symbol. Some guy looking to brag to other image oriented douches is never going to go "Hey, I just picked up my $100k Caddy" because he'll get laughed at. He'll be buying something the Krauts built, plain and simple.
