LS9 for your Corvette?

Should the LS9 be available over the counter through GM Performance Parts?

Would you pull the LS1 or LS2 from your Corvette, and bolt in an LS9? How much would this increase in horsepower be worth to you? What are your guesses on what an LS9 crate motor should retail for?

1. Well here's my thoughts. I looked on PACE performance parts . com and they have an LS7 for $12,995.95. I would expect that an LS9 (which is really an LS3 with a supercharger) would be about $16-17,995.95.
