KENOSHA, Wis. - The engineers at Snap-on Tools have done it again. After

spending countless hours analyzing hundreds of human hands and measuring

gripping and cutting requirements for today's advanced materials, they

went back to the drawing board to reinvent a technician's most basic

tool - pliers.

Cold-forged and completely re-engineered, Snap-on's Long Nose Pliers

(96CF and 196CF) feature the company's one-of-a-kind Talon Grip(TM) tip,

which provides the ultimate in gripping, cutting and durability, setting

a new industry standard.

The innovative new geometry includes a relocated joint, optimized handle

shape - longer and contoured for more comfort and better leverage - and

diamond serrated jaws, supplying up to a 57 percent increase in pulling

power.

In addition, the pliers boast jaw tips that are 26 percent stronger than

other models and are ramped for better accessibility. Snap-on's unique

Talon Grip(TM) provides the power needed to get everyday jobs done fast,

increasing the efficiency of the technician.

Snap-on's Long Nose Pliers are available in two different options - the

2 1/4-inch (96CF) and the 2-1/8 inch which features a built-it cutter

(196CF).

Customers can find out more about the Snap-on Long Nose Pliers by

visiting www.snapon.com; contacting their local Snap-on representative;

or by calling toll free 877-SNAPON-2 (877-762-7662).
