An interesting thought on an engine install

A new six-cylinder Vette?

As an hommage to the '53 Corvette, I wonder how cool it would be to get a '53 CE conversion done to a C5, then install the 4.2L inline six out of a Trailblazer in the car to build a retro six-cylinder '53 CE to pay tribute to the first Corvettes?

While the I-6 doesn't have the power of the LS1,2, or 6 (Though at 275 horsepower does have more power than the L98 and LT1 engines, and the smog motors of the 70s) it would still be neet to see a modern version of the original I-6 powered Corvette.

Anyone ever thought of trying this?
